two pictures (Taken with my iPod due to being sadly cameraless) of the amazing giant Uncle from the Sea Odyssey giant theatre thing thats going on in Liverpool at the moment, which was one of the most impressive things ive seen in a while. the detail on the puppets, right down to the carving on the hands, the faces, the eyes that really moved, and even the hair was incredible, as you’d guess the size of the thing (50ft), you cant really imagine without being there, and even the operators of the machinery, instead of trying to hide behind the scenes, became a (brilliant) part of the show, with costumes and a way of moving the machine (they moved its legs by swinging two at a time Tarzan style from ropes at the side) that was a performance itself. also, the music played by the live band following him was pretty awesome too. well done to the Royal De Luxe company, for..well, probably the most impressive thing ive seen in a while and a completly awesome day :)

Okay, Doctor Who rant time…
okay, so, today i began the new year by watching a marathon of Doctor Who with Ten in it on Watch, because, well, how else is better to spend the new year? i dont sleep properply, so i had hours and hours of awesome, basically. but it made me realise something, as watching Ten always does….
how much i acctually dont like Eleven or the new series. now, before you all explode off like “omg, just give him a chance, you just dont like change, i loooove Matt Smith, blah blah” just stop and give me a nanosecond to explain. firstly, i never said i didnt like Matt Smith. i said i didnt like Eleven. im sure if i saw him in something else as a differnt charecter, i probably wouldnt mind him just dont like his Doctor charecter, he dosnt seem right for it… anyway, past that, back my acctual issues with the last few series
